Significantly, the scheme also seeks to improve safety for cyclists and walkers coming onto Navigation Road from the (relatively) new Hungate Bridge, where there is potential for conflict with vehicles entering and leaving Rowntree Wharf car park.
Given the atmosphere of opposition to Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, supportive responses to the survey (which only takes a couple of minutes) might be very useful in helping the scheme to come about.
