From the square take the "normal" route east Stockton Lane / Warthill / Sand Hutton / Bossall / Crambe / Cross A64 / Welburn / Ganthorpe / Elevenses at Terrington Village Stores. Then into Castle Howard / Coneysthorpe / Easthorpe / Great Barugh / Kirby Misperton / Ryton / Malton via cycle path. Lunch in Malton cafes.
Return via Huttons Ambo bridge / Westow / Galley Gap to Howsham then a choice of return home via the way we went out or cross A64 at Barton le Willows and Foston / Thornton le Clay / Flaxton / Strensall.
