Change of plan as given the breezy forecast and shortening day length, I've decided to head out to Fika for elevenses (table already booked for 12) - then up to Crayke, northwards and then head east, up Yearsley Bank, across via Scackleton Bank, Terrington, Coneysthorpe, Castle Howard and Welburn for lunch (bring own and also I'll book Dogh cafe, then home (hopefully blown home by the easterly breeze) via Crambe, Bossall, Sand Hutton, Warthill, Murton and Osbaldwick. This should enable a return to York in daylight, all being well. 59 miles and 2200ft ascent some great views I hope en route in the hilly sections between Easingwold and Welburn Ride Leader: Russell M: 07950 000335 Easingwold Welburn rev.GPX (111.16 KB) www.plotaroute.com/route/2419115?units=miles
